Privacy notice
Aiden Personal Assistant is a personal project operated by Dexter Garner. This notice describes its Google Calendar connection and these public information pages.
Information the assistant accesses
With the account holder’s consent, Aiden uses Google Calendar availability and event data to answer calendar questions and prepare event changes. Data can include busy intervals and limited event titles, start and end times, identifiers, and version information.
The Google permissions are calendar.freebusy and calendar.events.owned. Google’s owned-events permission covers calendars the account owns; Aiden’s current application policy restricts its operations to the connected primary calendar. Gmail, email bodies, attachments, contacts, and Drive files are not part of this connection.
How calendar information is used
Calendar information is used to check availability, identify the requested event, prepare a proposed change, check for conflicts, and confirm the result of an approved operation. Creating, updating, or deleting an event requires the owner to review and approve the specific proposal. The current integration does not support guests, invitations, or recurring or all-day event changes.
Local AI inference may process the limited calendar information needed to respond. Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. It is not sold, used for advertising, or provided to data brokers.
Storage and protection
Google client configuration and access and refresh tokens are kept in owner-restricted files on the operator’s private computer. Protection relies on local account controls, disk encryption, restricted tools, and application checks. Tokens are not supplied to the language model, Slack, this website, or the phone gateway.
Local proposal records contain the details needed to review an action and track its outcome. Calendar questions, limited event details, and proposals may also be included in the owner’s private Slack conversation and assistant history. Those copies are not publicly displayed. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Services that receive information
Google processes authorization and Calendar API requests. When the owner uses Slack to interact with Aiden, Slack processes those messages under its own policies; local inference does not make Slack end-to-end private from its provider. This Calendar integration does not send Google credentials or calendar data to the separate phone gateway or voice worker.
Human access is limited to the operator and any access required to maintain security, meet legal obligations, or comply with the account holder’s explicit request. Service providers may process information needed to operate their services.
Retention and deletion
Authorization credentials remain stored until replaced or removed by the operator. Local proposals, action receipts, and assistant history remain until the operator deletes them; no automatic retention period is currently enforced. Slack and Google may retain their own copies under their policies. Deleting a local record does not delete a Google Calendar event or a provider’s records.
The account holder can disconnect Aiden through Google Account third-party connections. Revoking authorization stops further access once Google enforces the revocation; it does not automatically delete previously stored records. Contact the operator to request removal of local credentials, proposals, or conversation records. Provider backups and retention are governed separately.
These public pages
These pages contain no assistant sign-in, forms, advertising, or application analytics scripts. The page code does not set cookies or browser storage. Hosting and delivery providers may process ordinary request metadata, such as IP addresses and browser information, and may use security features under their own policies. Do not send credentials or private calendar contents through this website.
Google API data commitments
Aiden Personal Assistant’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes and contact
This notice will be updated if Aiden’s account access or data practices change. New integrations, including Gmail or voice-to-calendar actions, require separate setup and a review of this notice before use.
